Located in Cardinal Gibbons Park. A short distance into the woods. Park at N38 07.781 W076 23.003
Cache only contains items for trade from the 80's. Trade anything you like as long as you can relate your item to the 80's. This park was dedicated in 1980 and the monument to the Cardinal was erected in the late 80's. I recommend checking out the monument before or after searching for the cache. The first time I resided in St. Mary's County was around the time this monument was built. I decided that an 80's cache would be fun, besides I have lots of 80's memorabilia to use. The initial cache contents are:
Earphones-for your walkman.
MGD Light pin-from some party in the 80's.
And Justice For All pin-saw Metallica in Oahu in 1989.
G'N'R patch of the original 1987 lineup.
Pink Floyd Bandana-saw them on this tour in 1987.

Stash Note with a logbook: Please leave these items with the cache. Cache is a clear green plastic jar. It has a seal so should keep moisture out well. Let me know if this is not the case and I will provide more ziplocks. Please replace cache as you found it and be sure to log your find.
